Hello, this is 2PM’s Chansung.
It’s already time for the cold winter. I started my entertainment activities at the age of 17 and 15 years have already passed. There are so many things that happened and memories I’ve made. I would like to thank our Hottest for making these precious memories. Today, I want to tell you something happy about me that will bring change.
There is someone who I have been dating for a long time. This person has been a source of relief whenever I feel unstable, a friend, and a lover who I can talk about anything with. While preparing and planning for marriage with this special person after my military discharge, a blessing of a new life came earlier than expected, and I am thinking we will get married early next year. I am still very careful as we are in the early stages of pregnancy, but I am telling you this news because I think you all should be the first to know.
I ask for your understanding that the person who will become my wife is not someone in the same field of work as me, so I will not disclose any more information.
Also, my contract with JYP Entertainment, whom I have been with for 15 years, is set to expire in January 2022. With the start of my new family accompanied with a new life, I had discussions with the company to set out on my own path. We agreed not to renew our contract together. Above all, I made the decision by sharing that my future comes first, and the company also wished well for my future. We will always support each other’s development and growth as we are like old friends who go a long way back. I don’t have an exact plan yet, but I want to tell you all not to worry.
