BLACKPINK’s Lisa Reunites With Her Bestie, NIKI, At “Head In The Clouds 2021”

This past weekend, BLACKPINK‘s Lisa attended 88rising‘s Head In The Clouds 2021 (HITC) music festival at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. The festival’s lineup included NIKI, DAY6‘s Jae (also known as eaJ), CL, DPR LIVE and DPR IAN, Joji, Rich Brian, BIBI, and more.
Lisa was a longtime fan of NIKI–an Indonesian singer, songwriter, and record producer–before they finally met in 2019. The meeting took place at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, the “city of stars”.
Since then, Lisa and NIKI have become close friends and supporters of each other’s work. At HITC, NIKI performed an hour-long set, calling it the “performance of [her] life.” The set included her songs “La La Lost With You” with 88rising, “Plot Twist,” and many more.
