Mnet And HYBE Officially Launch “I-LAND 2” For Their New Girl Group

Mnet and HYBE have officially announced the start of I-LAND 2, which will form ENHYPEN‘s sister group.

According to a press release shared by CJ ENM, I-LAND 2 has officially started production, announcing they are accepting applicants for the show’s second season, which will form a girl group. The girl group created with work alongside ENHYPEN under BELIFT LAB.

Regardless of nationality, any female born between January 1, 2000 and December 31, 2009 will be allowed to apply for the show. The application period is from September 27, 12pm KST to October 10, 12pm KST. Auditions will be held in seven regions around the world — Korea, Japan, Vietnam, Australia, Thailand, the United States, and one more unannounced location.

I-LAND 2 is schedule to begin airing in 2022.
