It’s been reported by Hankyung that actress Goo Hye Sun has been attempting to get rid of all online traces of her divorce. According to the news reports, the actress has made a direct request to Namu Wiki — which runs similarly to that of Wikipedia — to delete all information regarding herself and her divorce from actor Ahn Jae Hyun.
While listing “infringement of privacy” and “false information” as her reasons, the actress requested that the website take down all documents pertaining to her divorce.
Namu Wiki has since accepted the request and has turned all of the related documents to private. When a user searches for any document pertaining to Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun’s divorce, this is the page they are sent to.
Goo Hye Sun and Ahn Jae Hyun got married back in May 2016 after meeting as the two leads in the KBS2 series Blood. Three years later in August 2019, Ahn Jae Hyun formally requested a divorce from the actress. The situation became messy when Goo Hye Sun began accusing Ahn Jae Hyun of infidelity, uploading a lengthy Instagram post with the details of the actor’s alleged extramarital affairs.
As the divorce proceedings became official, the actress continued to publicize private details about her former marriage, as well as her former husband. Due to this, Goo Hye Sun became the target of the nation’s criticisms.
