The TOP 50 Hanteo Global Album Authentication Rankings For K-Pop Artists From The First Half Of 2021

The authentication of K-Pop albums is considered a “step forward” in the process of buying albums, and is the only data that can analyze the “end users” of an album, or in other words, the “true fans” or real purchasers of said album. Because of this, it’s important to look at not only album sales but album authentications as well to really get a full look at how popular and successful a K-Pop artist is!

Hanteo recently released the data they’ve collected for the first half of 2021 about K-Pop album authentication worldwide, and incredibly, the global number has increased by 50.02% compared to the same time last year! This just goes to show how much K-Pop’s popularity is expanding worldwide.

Here’s Hanteo’s list of the 50 K-Pop artists who ranked most highly in their album authentication numbers for the first half of 2020! Pay special attention to the artists that didn’t even release any new albums this year.
