10 Things You Might Not Have Noticed In BTS’s “Permission To Dance” MV Teaser
본문
The teaser for BTS‘s “Permission to Dance” music video is here! It’s short, sweet, and hints at what’s to come. Here are 10 details you might have missed the first time around!
1. All the magazine headlines
BTS bids farewell to the COVID-19 pandemic with a future issue of The Daily. The date on the magazine is 2022.
“Harbingers of Hope,” reads one headline. “Purple balloons signal the end of COVID-19.” The “buy now” phone number, 201-3613, is BTS’s debut date, June 13, 2013.
Another headline reads, “We all worked together to overcome it. Nothing could stop us.”
BTS’s pandemic anthem “Life Goes On,” is referenced on the cover, above a headline that ushers in a new post-pandemic era.
Goodbye masks! “Let’s not meet again ever!”
2. Seven strikes again
BTS often slips the number seven into their music videos. It can be seen here…

4. Purple and gold
An inspirational message is painted on a purple balloon behind the Golden Maknae Jungkook, V,” and Jin; “Live just like we’re golden.” The message might be referencing BTS’s song “Stay Gold” or the golden “Butter” era.
5. Good vibes only
In the upper left corner another message, “just keep the right vibe,” seems to be referencing these lyrics from “Butter”; “Rollin’ up to party, got the right vibe.”
6. These mystery messages
Three more text blocks can be seen on this trailer, but it seems like we’ll have to wait until the music video premieres to get a better look at them!
7. The kids
Who are they? Some fans are wondering if the son of BTS’s dance director Son Sung Deuk is making a cameo. The children are flying the “harbinger of hope” balloons shown earlier in the teaser. One is also wearing BTS’s signature color: purple.
8. The set
An extension has been built onto one side of the store, but it isn’t clear what it will be used for yet. Given BTS’s cowboy-inspired outfits, it wouldn’t be too far of a stretch to imagine a saloon showing up!
9. World tour locations?
If “Permission to Dance” is all about the year 2022, does that mean BTS will finally be on the road again next year?
