Prosecution Requests 4 Years In Prison For Former BTOB Ilhoon’s Charges For Buying And Using Marijuana

Previously, former BTOB member Ilhoon admitted to all charges of using and purchasing marijuana.
On May 20, the second court hearing for Ilhoon was held at Seoul’s Central District Court.
The prosecution stated, “We request a prison sentence of four years and a fine of 133 million KRW (~ $117,000 USD) to the defendant.”
According to Ilhoon’s legal representatives, “The defendant is reflecting deeply on his actions. He was fearful as it was the first trial and investigation of his life. He worked in the entertainment industry at such a young age and he tried to relieve the stress in the wrong way.”
Back in December 2020, Ilhoon was accused of habitually using marijuana. Following the report, Cube Entertainment announced he would no longer be part of BTOB.
