“TMI News” Uncovered ITZY Lia’s Pre-Debut Days As A Silver Spoon Trainee

An episode of Mnet‘s TMI News mentioned ITZY Lia‘s name as one of Korea’s silver spoon idols.
According to TMI News, Lia carried a ₩2.00 million KRW (about $1,800 USD) designer bag at just 19 years old.
Furthermore, Lia went to an international high school on Jeju Island where all classes are conducted in English.
That’s not all. The school even has over 100 club activities including orchestra, scuba diving, and horseback riding.
And what convinced TMI News that Lia is a silver spoon is the fact that the school’s yearly tuition is around ₩40.0 million KRW (about $35,900 USD), and with accommodations added on top, it would cost a student over ₩60.0 million KRW (about $53,900 USD) per year to attend.
It’s been revealed that the children of many celebrities and successful businessmen attend this school, but rather than picking a typical career path, Lia decided to become an idol instead!
