BTS Jungkook’s Interpretation Of “Still With You” Might Make You Cry

COVID-19 has changed the world as we know it in 2020, but social distancing hasn’t stopped BTS‘s Jungkook from touching our hearts.
This year, BTS traded in their MAP OF THE SOUL world tour for virtual concerts and took up at-home hobbies instead of traveling the world. Now, BTS is sharing more about their pandemic life experiences in Big Hit Entertainment‘s newly launched Weverse Magazine.
One of two featured stories, “BTS & ARMY, We Walk Together”, follows BTS and their fans as they adjust to a “new normal” that involves staying much more than six feet away.
“What gives me the strength to perform is the cheers,” Jungkook said. “Cheers. That cheer gives me the strength to go even harder and sing even when I get a cramp on stage.”
ARMY can’t be with Jungkook in person, but they are with him in spirit, and in the lyrics of his solo song, “Still with you”. “Still with you” was unveiled this summer as a thank you gift for ARMY during BTS’s FESTA celebration.

In Weverse Magazine, Jungkook shared a beautiful interpretation of the lyrics, “even if I dance alone, the rain still pours. When this fog is lifted, I’ll run with my feet wet.”
He said, “It means that if the rain is coronavirus, I will go to our fans even if the rain pours down.”
