Actress Lee Jieun Found Dead In Her Home, Police To Hold An Autopsy

Actress Lee Jieun (52), who was known for being in the popular 90s K-Drama Light of the Youth, has passed away.

According to the police, she was found dead in her home in Seoul on March 8 at around 8 PM KST.

Police revealed, “We received a call from an acquaintance who said they couldn’t contact her.”

Lee had been living alone after her son left to enlist in the military.

Police will be holding an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death.

Lee debuted as a model through the 1994 SBS program Good Morning. She later went on to receive the Best New Actress award at the 16^th Blue Dragon Film Awards and the 34^th Daejong Film Festival. She made her face and name known to the public after appearing in the 1995 drama Light of the Youth.
