Stray Kids’ “2024 MET Gala” Looks Earn Mixed Reactions From Netizens

On May 6, Stray Kids made history by becoming the first K-Pop group to attend the MET Gala.

However, many felt that the group’s outfits were a letdown. Each year, the MET Gala announces a theme for guests attending to follow, and this year’s is “The Garden Of Time.”
In addition to a literal garden, there were many interpretations of the theme, including how the exhibition is divided into land, sea, and sky.
Netizens felt that the group could have worn something more on theme, especially for their first appearance. Some compared their looks to something that could have been worn for a Korean music show like Inkigayo.
