Doctor Slump was also anticipated as Heirs (also known as Inheritors) co-stars Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye reunited, this time as the male and female lead, respectively.
It is a romantic comedy series about the hate turned to love relationship of Nam Ha-neul (Park Shin-hye) and Yeo Jeong-woo (Park Hyung-sik) who had promising prospects in their careers, but fell into a slump due to different circumstances. Ha-neul and Jeong-woo were high school rivals who despised each other and parted ways after high school. But when they are forced to quit their jobs as doctors they end up living together at Ha-neul’s house.

3. Wedding Impossible
K-Drama Wedding Impossible, an adaptation of the webtoon of the same name by Song Jung Won, intrigued the internet with its trailer. It follows Jun Jong Seo (Money Heist: Korea – Joint Economic Area and Burning) as an aspiring actress, Na A Jeong, who prepares to enter a contract marriage with her best friend of 15 years, Lee Do Han, who is portrayed by Kim Do Wan (Doona! and Big Mouth). Netizens were impressed by the representation as Lee, who becomes the second male lead, is gay.

Some were interested due to its all-star cast consisting of Kim Yoo Jung (also known as Kim You Jung, who previously starred in My Demon, The 8th Night, and 20th Century Girl) as Choi Min Ah, Ryu Seung Ryong (Moving, Kingdom, and Miracle in Cell No. 7) as Choi Sun Man, and Ahn Jae Hong (Kingdom, Be Melodramatic, and Fight For My Way) as Ko Baek Joong. Yet, most couldn’t get over the “absurd” storyline.
