MOAs Outraged By Alleged Prices For TXT’s “ACT: PROMISE TOUR” In The U.S

TXT‘s alleged prices for their upcoming U.S. tour have left fans feeling stressed out.
Recently, TXT announced their long-awaited world tour, ACT: PROMISE. Following the opening concerts in Seoul, the group will embark on a 11-concert, 8-city tour of the United States, first teased in a creative email using Morse code.
| BIGHIT MUSICLike with many of HYBE‘s groups, information about concert ticketing was updated via Weverse, giving fans information on how to access the exclusive presale and where they will be sold. Tickets go on sale on March 27 for presale, giving fans about a week and a half to prepare.
| TXT/WeverseHowever, one huge aspect of ticket sales is the prices, and in recent years, many groups have moved away from revealing the prices of tickets before they go on sale. Fans usually find out how much the tickets will cost on the day they go on sale, leaving some unprepared for exactly how much they will need to spend.
Last year, MOAs got a heads-up from a venue on the prices for the group’s ACT: SWEET MIRAGE tour and were shocked to discover how much they would be.
This year, fans were able to discover the potential ticket prices by using technology.
Sometimes, when an event is listed on Ticketmaster, a landing page is available before tickets go on sale. On the front end, this page seems empty, and there is little to offer in the form of information.
| TicketmasterHowever, for those a bit more tech-savvy, information about the event can be found in the website’s code, including ticket prices. One fan did such a search and found that for TXT’s concert, the data showed that the current minimum price for tickets was 74.50 USD before fees, and the most expensive ticket, likely a VIP package, was 604.50 USD, and shared this online.

BIGHIT MUSIC has not confirmed these prices; however, this method has been used for other concerts and proven to be correct on most occasions, leading fans to assume this information is likely correct.
Many fans have expressed disbelief over the alleged prices, citing the final price of ENHYPEN’s FATE tour tickets as an indication of how much the final price with fees would be. ENHYPEN’s most expensive ticket was 555.50 before fees and 683.10 after, meaning TXT’s will likely be over 700 USD.

Others felt more anger over the prices, as the VIP that included a meet & greet for the group’s Seoul concerts was only ₩198,000 KRW (about $148 USD), a quarter of the alleged price.
vip and m&g for the seoul con being abt $150 usd actually pisses me off sm bc the us will probs be around $500-$600. hybe is just using the us for a shit ton of money man.

it's understandable to make prices higher in the us than in sk bc of the shipping costs of props, plane ticket and hotel for staff, but it's not the reason to make a single ticket goes for 600 https://t.co/wb3sGlVwAv

With the ever-increasing price tickets for K-Pop concerts, fans are feeling the stress in their wallets more and more.
