Netflix has released a first look at its new K-Drama Hierarchy.
The streaming platform recently dropped its 2024 lineup of original Korean content. This includes Squid Game 2, a K-Drama about a girl who turns into a chicken nugget, and Hierarchy.

Hierarchy is an anticipated teen drama set at an elite high school that only the top 0.01% of all students can attend, Jooshin High School. According to reports, “The emotional connections between the characters, from love, jealousy, revenge, and compassion, will all be displayed through the show.” So, imagine a spicier version of Heirs (also known as The Inheritors).
Jooshin High School is the most prestigious school in South Korea. The school was established by the conglomerate Jooshin Group. Normally, only students that are chosen at birth to attend Jooshin High School are allowed. Those students include Jung Jae-Yi (Roh Jeong-Eui), who is is the first daughter of the family that runs Jaeyool Group, Kim Ri-An (Kim Jae-Won) who is the successor of the Jooshin Group, Yoon He-Ra (Ji Hye-Won) who is the youngest daughter of trading company International Yoon, and Lee Woo-Jin (Lee Won-Jung) who is second son of a powerful politician family.
Meanwhile, Kang Ha (Lee Chae-Min) is transferred to Jooshin High School. He possesses a pure and innocent smile, but he holds a secret. Due to him, the concrete world of Jooshin High School begins to crack.

“Hierarchy” cast Lee Chae Min, known for Music Bank and Crash Course in Romance, plays the lead role of Kang Ha, a scholarship student at the high school. He appears innocent and charming, like a puppy, but he is firm and capable of pursuing his target. Many may wonder why he joined the elite school.
Lee Chae Min Roh Jeong Eui, who previously appeared in Our Beloved Summer and Dear.M, is Jeong Jae Yi, a conglomerate’s eldest daughter and the high school queen. According to reports, “Carrying the dignity matching a noble, her slim frame hides the heart of a warrior with her unrivaled charisma.”

Not only that, but Netflix users are already getting a “Coming Soon” title for Hierarchy so that one can be reminded when it premieres. This includes its rating, which is 18+ for “Sex.”

Last year, a post on an online community titled “The Drama Premise That I Am Currently Worried About” went viral. Previous press releases indicated that there would be NSFW scenes, which include high levels of nudity. Netizens suggested that the K-Drama will be more like Western teen dramas Euphoria and Gossip Girl than Heirs.
It’s a high-teen romance drama, but in articles, they state that there will be unprecedented levels of nudity. The drama is currently considering coming out on Netflix, and actors Lee Chae Min, Roh Jeong Eui, and Ji Hye Won have been reportedly cast.
