Netizens Praise A K-Rapper For Calling Out The People Behind The Recent Knife Attacks In Korea

Rapper and TV personality Lee Young Ji recently made a strong statement regarding the frequent random knife attacks in Korea.

On July 21, there was a random knife attack in Sillim, Seoul, in which a man stabbed four random passersby, resulting in one death and three injuries. Since then, there has been a surge in knife attacks nationwide. On August 3, a random knife attack occurred at a department store called AK Plaza in Bundang-gu, where a man attacked nine people with a knife and five people by driving into a pedestrian road in front of the store.

With the recent knife incidents, there has been an increase in individuals wandering the streets pretending to hold weapons, imitating crimes, and even posting murder threats online. As a result, the police and prosecutors have taken strict measures and raised the arrest and punishment criteria exceptionally high.

Lee Young Ji had something to say about these recent incidents. On August 6, she posted a statement on Twitter calling out the people behind these knife attacks and expressing the concern caused by these people.
