Previously, BIGHIT MUSIC officially announced that J-Hope would be the first of the BTS members to release a solo album, Jack In The Box, after the announcement that the group would be taking time to focus on individual work.

Again, BIGHIT MUSIC reiterated that BTS is technically not taking a hiatus as a group with Korean, English, and Japanese statements. There originally had been misunderstandings due to mistranslations in a live broadcast.

We would like to announce the release of ‘Jack In The Box,’ j-hope’s solo album. BTS has turned the page on their new chapter, throughout which the members will harmoniously carry out their group and individual activities. j-hope will be the first member of BTS to start this new journey and release his solo album.
j-hope’s solo album, as expressed in the title of the album ‘Jack In The Box,’ represents his aspirations to break the mold and grow further.
Starting with his pre-released track to be released on July 1st, diverse content to show j-hope’s creative identity as an artist will be introduced. Please stay tuned and we will continue to provide you with more details on the album.

I have more questions, as doesn't seems there is a true physical album, just a package with a QC code, if that codes only takes you to Weverse Album then non of these preorders will count to our local charts. Meaning no BB charts.

But it’ll essentially be just a package with QR code and photocards. So, the album will consist of exactly a Card Holder (1 of 2), Photocard A (1 type), Photocard B (1 of 2), and QR card (User guide).

jack in the box will be available on weverse album so they only physical thing you actually get are the photocards in the little box, everything else is digital. hybe has been doing this with their other groups lately!!
