BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon congratulated fellow BIGBANG member Taeyang on his birthday.
The icon uploaded a video of the two artists and captioned the clip, “In prosperity, our friends know us, in adversity we know our friends
#HBDYB”
In the video, the two BIGBANG members pose for the camera with “Happy Birthday Youngbae” written in the film.
Fans loved the interaction and wrote in the comments, “It’s so good to see your face,” “It’s so lovely to see you wishing Taeyang a happy birthday,” and “Happy Birthday Taeyang.”
Taeyang is known to be G-Dragon’s oldest and closest friend. The two met at age thirteen while being trainees at YG Entertainment.
The two would debut with BIGBANG in 2006 and go on to help shape K-Pop into the leviathan it has become.
BIGBANG made their comeback on April 5 with the group’s single “Still Life.” The song foreshadowed the end of BIGBANG for now. There has been no word on when the group will return.
