Korean Netizens May Have Found Hints About Additional Members Within The Lyrics Of aespa’s “Black Mamba”

aespa‘s concept and overall theme has been both an attention-drawer and confusion point for the public. Netizens were extremely puzzled over what “KWANGYA” means. The term was first mentioned when the girls announced their fandom name.
Through the official post, it was explained that “KWANGYA” was the place in which the AI counterparts lived in. The term was once again repeated in their debut song, “Black Mamba”.
However, netizens have realized that the term contains all the initials for the members.

On a possibly related note, the hook of the song contains the term “AYA” as well.
Rumors about 3 additional members, including famous trainee, Helen Kim, have been swirling around on community boards.
Previously, a self-proclaimed insider had also uploaded 7 sets of initials on Twitter. 4 of them eventually ended up being the debut group.
