BTS V‘s mic twirl during a performance of “Answer: Love Myself” last night ended up hurting his knee.
During the encore performance from last night’s PERMISSION TO DANCE ON STAGE concert, BTS performed “Answer: Love Myself” from their 2018 album Love Yourself: Answer.

All the members sounded great, and V even wore a Squid Game-themed costume!
Because it was an encore performance, the members didn’t do any choreography, and they walked around the stage waving at ARMY.

While performing “Answer: Love Myself,” V decided to show ARMY his microphone flipping skills, which was something he’d done in previous performances over the years.

He twirled his mic near his knee and flipped it a few times.

A few moments later, he dropped the microphone, and he scrambled after it. He knelt on the floor to grab it before it rolled off the stage.

V managed to catch the microphone, and he continued performing with the rest of BTS.

However, he rubbed his knee as he continued performing. He may have hurt it either when his mic hit it or when he was kneeling on the floor.

Jungkook apparently noticed that V had hurt his knee, and he subtly checked on him by giving him a thumbs up while nodding his head.
