Netflix‘s Squid Game has been a huge hit not just in South Korea but also worldwide, and its popularity has yet to die down.
Naturally, with its cliffhanger ending and thrilling first season, viewers have been desperately asking for updates regarding a second season.

Creator Hwang Dong Hyuk has heard out our pleas, and he’s heard them loud and clear. So, finally, we have an update, thanks to an interview with The Associated Press while some of the Squid Game cast and crew were in Los Angeles, California, for the 2021 Art+Film Gala, organized by the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
So there’s been so much pressure, so much demand and so much love for a second season. So I almost feel like you leave us no choice!

The pressure is on! So, Hwang Dong Hyuk is hard at work already to give fans a second season.
But I will say there will indeed be a second season. It’s in my head right now. I’m in the planning process currently.
