NCT’s Hair Stylist Reveals Which Members Care The Most (& Least) About Their Hair

Hair can make or break and idol’s visuals, so it’s no surprise that many stars care about how their hair looks. However, some idols definitely care a lot more (or a lot less) than others. In a new YouTube video on his channel, Dare U Naeju, NCT‘s hair stylist Park Naeju revealed which members care the most about their hair, and which member cares the least.
Park Naeju—who has also worked with BTS, EXO, GOT7, and more—there are two members in the group who care the most about hair styles. The first is leader and center Taeyong.
The veteran hair stylist revealed that Taeyong always likes to try new things. In fact, he often tells stylists he wants to dye his hair this color or that color “despite how damaged [his] hair would get“!
Thankfully, Park Naeju and his team are always on hand to help minimize that damage. Since Taeyong had to dye his hair several different colors while promoting with NCT and SuperM recently, his stylists decided to use a wash-out “color mousse” from Etude House to make him look great for “Make a Wish” without killing his hair.
And even though Taeyong likes to come up with his own ideas, he always expresses delight at the stylists’ suggestions too

Park Naeju went on to reveal that the second member who cares a lot about his hair is NCT U‘s main vocalist Doyoung.
According to the stylist, Doyoung knows what suits him better than anyone. He knows which side of his face looks better, and even instructs the stylists himself—”Please part my hair on the right side!”.
But while Taeyong and Doyoung take a lot of charge when it comes to their hair styling, there’s one member who’s more than happy to let the stylists take control completely: rap and dance star Jaemin.
Instead of worrying about what his hair will look like when he arrives at the salon, Park Naeju says Jaemin is all about being the “life of the party“. While most idols can be shy and quiet when they first start getting their hair done, Jaemin likes to create a fun time for himself and the stylists alike. Park Naeju revealed that Jaemin always say, “Please take good care of me!”, trusting the stylists’ decisions when it comes to his hair.
When he comes to the [hair] shop he says “hi” to every staff member, including the managers at the info desk. People seem to be shy of strangers on the first visit to the shop. But Jaemin, he makes his own coffee and keeps himself fun like he’s visiting a real café.
