BLACKPINK’s Lisa Can’t Stop Gushing About Her Friendship With iKON And Featuring In Their “Kingdom” Performance

When it comes to the big K-Pop companies, one of the “Big 3” agencies is YG Entertainment. With acts like BIGBANG, iKON, BLACKPINK, AKMU, and TREASURE, to name a few, they have definitely caught the attention of fans for their family-like relationship.

In particular, two groups who fans always love seeing interactions between iKON and BLACKPINK!

Recently, BLACKPINK’s Lisa sat down in an interview with Teen Vogue and discussed everything from her new album, her confidence, and much more. In particular, she spoke about her friendship with iKON and her performance with them on Mnet‘s Kingdom. 

Her appearance during the show had netizens gushing after she joined iKON in their rendition of BLACKPINK’s “Pretty Savage,” which they renamed “Classy Savage.”

In the interview, Lisa explained how excited she was at the idea of being able to perform with them, even before she knew that they were performing a BLACKPINK song.

Knowing that iKON would appear on Kingdom, I wanted to perform with them. I was rooting for them. After hearing that they are going to cover BLACKPINK’s song, we were able to do it together. The performance came out really nice.

After the article was released, fans couldn’t get enough of Lisa’s humble attitude and respect for iKON, who is the group’s seniors. Yet, it isn’t the first time netizens have loved the friendship between the two.

When Lisa appeared on Kingdom, Mnet showed the idols after the performance, and the iKON members couldn’t stop praising Lisa.

Even before the performance was aired, in a video posted on Weverse, Bobby, who has worked with Lisa for many years, explained, “A truly unexpected and precious person will come. Queen of the Stage.”

With so much respect and love between these groups, there is no denying why they are two of the biggest acts in K-Pop, showcasing their own style and identity through music. Hopefully, when their schedules are less hectic, fans can get more BLACKPINK x iKON interactions.
