OH MY GIRL’s Arin Will Not Return For “The World Of My 17 Season 2” — Choi Yena To Star As Oh Na Ri

The World Of My 17 made a splash when a webdrama version of the popular webtoon was created. At that point in time, OH MY GIRL‘s Arin played the main lead, Oh Na Ri. Her short hair and cute mannerisms suited the role perfectly. As her first leading role, Arin was highly praised for her acting chops as well. While the popular webdrama is set to return for a second season, Arin will not be reprising her role.

Instead, former IZ*ONE‘s Choi Yena has been cast as Oh Na Ri. Opposite her will star Yoo Seonho, Weeekly‘s Jihan and actor Lee Won Jung.

Yoo Seonho will play Joo Chanyang, Nari’s deskmate.

Seonho has acted prior to this and many are anticipating how he will play the cold and chic character.

On the other hand, Lee Won Jung, who has acted in Live: On, wil play Kwon Seung Ha.

Kwon Seung Ha is in the student council with Oh Na Ri. In the webtoon, the two end up dating.

Lastly, while Fanatics‘ Doah played the role of Im Seon Ji in season one…

…she will be replaced by Weeekly’s Jihan. Im Seon Ji is Oh Na Ri’s best friend and is a shy yet sweet girl.
