This refers to the special way the coffins are adorned in the series before being taken to the incinerator. While some may believe that the gift-like styling is meant to tie into the childish element of the series, Chae Kyung Sun gave a much deeper reason.
I think I focused on the mind of the person who came up with the game. I imagined he’d think he gave the contestants a chance as if he’s a god.
