BLACKPINK‘s Lisa recently surprised fans with a new series on her YouTube channel. Entitled “LiLi’s World,” she gave BLINKs an up-close look on what it’s like to shoot several album photos in the first episode.

Besides preparing her nails and outfits, Lisa also needed to get her hair done. It was the first thing on her schedule when she greeted fans at the start of the video.

Though she initially sounded excited, she also admitted that it’s not the easiest thing in the world to do. Sitting in a chair for hours on end would drain anyone.
I couldn’t sleep last night because I was so excited. I have a jacket shoot tomorrow so I’ll be coloring my hair for five hours. Even just the thought of it sounds tiring, right?

As soon as she arrived at the hair salon, her stylist revealed that the procedure would actually take longer than five hours. While on the topic of intense hair changes, she confessed that the last time she promoted with BLACKPINK, her hair condition took a turn for the worse.

BLACKPINK’s promotions for “Lovesick Girls,” the title track of their full-length album The Album, may have been last October 2020, but part of Lisa’s hair is still suffering from the dual color. She showed fans just how frizzy and dry the front portion of her hair is.

On the flip side, her hair sacrifices have meant that she’s able to show various images of herself throughout the years. Lisa also looked excited to go from black hair to her current blonde look.
