BTS Cancels “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL” Tour

In unfortunate news, BigHit Music has announced the cancellation of BTS‘s originally planned concert for BTS MAP OF THE SOUL. On August 20, 2021, they announced that due to extenuating circumstances, the concert, which had been planned from January 2020, would, unfortunately, be canceled.

The concert had originally been planned to cover 38 countries and had already been pushed back a year due to COVID-19. It seems that given the uncertainty of the pandemic, BigHit Music had no choice but to cancel the event for now.

Fans had been holding on to the hope that it would resume in 2021 or 2022, but a formal cancellation has been issued as of August 20, 2021.
