ASTRO’s Cha Eunwoo Is Announced As Burberry’s Newest Ambassador… And All The Signs Were There

ASTRO‘s Cha Eunwoo has been announced by W Korea as Burberry‘s newest ambassador.
Not only is Eunwoo a newly minted luxury brand ambassador but he is also currently preparing for ASTRO’s comeback, “Switch On” on August 2.
Cha Eunwoo has been flexing his handsome visuals and modeling skills for years so it’s no surprise that a major luxury brand like Burberry would approach him to be an ambassador.

While this announcement may be new, the signs of this partnership have been there for over a month. In early June, Eunwoo was spotted filming a promotional video for Burberry at the Shinsegae Department store. While there, he rocked the “Burberry Olympia Bag” and showed off his visuals both when posing and when relaxed between photos.
Only a few days later, Eunwoo sat down with Vogue Korea for a “My Vogue” interview in which he shared what he kept in his bag, but what bag did Eunwoo decide to show off? Why, his “Burberry Olympia Bag”!

While doing the interview, he expertly praised the features of the bag, especially the bag’s strength. This strength came back to bite him near the end of the interview as the bag proved a little tough to open.

Over the week of July 19, this official partnership with Burberry finally started to take shape in the public eye. On July 19, W Korea uploaded the first of two separate promotional videos.
In between these videos, fans received some behind-the-scenes shots uploaded to Eunwoo’s personal Instagram.
In these photos, he appears on locataion at the abandoned, rain-soaked, glass box somewhere in the dessert where the promos were filmed.
On July 21, W Korea uploaded the second promotional video which revealed that Eunwoo was modeling the “Burberry TB Summer Monogram Collection”.
On July 22, W Korea finally took to their Instagram page to announced that not only was Eunwoo going to be modeling for this Burberry collection, but that he would be a Burberry Brand Ambassador as well.
