Here’s A Deep Dive Into The Line Distributions For All 5 Tracks On EXO’s “Don’t Fight The Feeling” Album

On June 7, EXO released their highly-anticipated seventh mini-album, Don’t Fight the Feeling. It’s their first release since they came out with Obsession in November 2019, and also marked the return of Xiumin and D.O. from their military service, as well as Lay‘s first album participation in years!
With these members returning, and Suho and Chen off completing their military service when the album was being made, seven of EXO’s members participated in its creation. Out of the five songs on the album, fans might be curious just how evenly the lines are distributed between these seven members, especially as EXO is already known to have a couple of members usually receive more lines than others.

Difference between most and least lines: 19.5%
While there is a pretty drastic difference between the members with the most and least lines, both in individual songs as well as the album as a whole, the placement of which members have more or less lines does make sense given their positions in the group. The main vocalists have the most lines by a large margin, the sub-vocalists and rappers have the middle amount of lines, and the members that are main or lead dancers have the least amount of lines. So while it might seem unfair at first glance, it does make sense!
