Rapper Lil Uzi Vert is one of the many devastated GFRIEND fans that vocalized his frustration about the girl group’s sudden departure from their agency. He not only took to his Twitter account to tweet out this very simple message, but the rapper also changed his profile picture to one of GFRIEND.

These two artists’ fan-ship for the girl group is nothing new, as many GFRIEND fans have been aware of the singer and rapper’s love for the group. A BUDDY (GFRIEND’s fanclub name) uploaded a video of Lil Uzi Vert expressing his love for the girl group during an Instagram live as a response to all of his confused Twitter fans.

Singer Gallant also joined Lil Uzi Vert in their sadness at the group’s sudden news. Gallant also held an Instagram live session and while he did not speak one word, his emotional expression and background song did all the talking for him. The singer played GFRIEND’s “Only 1” in the background while he looked visibly broken.

The American singer also previously showed off his public adoration for the girl group, as he had uploaded a photo with GFRIEND from 2016 onto his Instagram story.
Gallant went a step further to prove his love for GFRIEND when he was caught leaving comments on the girl group’s official Instagram account, thanking them for creme brûlée.
The two Hollywood artists’ sorrow comes just a few days after Source Music confirmed that all 6 members of GFRIEND would be leaving the company after they failed to agree on contract renewals. Their current exclusive contract is set to conclude on May 22.
While Source Music never confirmed nor denied the group’s disbandment, members Yuju and Sowon wrote about the group’s alleged “end” in their handwritten farewell letters to their fans.
