Neither Jekyll & Hyde nor Turandot have a character named Elizabeth, so who is she? Some fans think she could be the titular character from Elisabeth, a Viennese, German-language musical about the life and death of Empress Elisabeth of Austria, wife of Emperor Franz Joseph I.
Ok Joo Hyun and Kim So Hyun played Elisabeth in a 2018 South Korean production of the musical, while VIXX‘s Leo, JYJ’s Kim Junsu, and V’s close friend Park Hyung Sik starred as Der Tod, also known as “The Death”.
The plot of the musical revolves around a fictional romance between Elisabeth and Death throughout her life.
