Eric Nam Shares High Praise To BTS And BLACKPINK For Their Record-Smashing Achievements

During a recent episode of DIVE Studios‘ KPDB show, Eric Nam and his brother Eddie Nam gave some high praise to BTS and BLACKPINK for their incredible achievements.

In 2020, both BTS and BLACKPINK have been breaking multiple records, such as BTS becoming the first K-Pop group to get No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and BLACKPINK becoming the first K-Pop girl group to enter the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart for 2 weeks straight! Eric Nam congratulated both groups for all their accomplishments and wondered what’s next for them.

Eddie Nam also stated how surprised and proud he was of the success of BTS’s “Dynamite”.

I never in my life thought that a K-Pop band, a boy band, BTS, would be singing on prime time television. That’s insane to me. It’s a great moment.

Eric Nam also briefly spoke on BTS and BLACKPINK, possibly being GRAMMY nominees in 2021. However, he also hilariously stated how GRAMMY voting can be extremely tedious.

I got to vote. I got to do my GRAMMY votes. But, GRAMMY voting is so LONG. Am I even allowed to say this? I’m not saying who I’m voting for. I’m just saying I got to vote.
