Korean Woman Finds Out Her Boyfriend “Ghosted” Her Because He Was Arrested And Thrown Into Jail

On the most recent episode of the KBS Joy program, a woman shared the story of why her boyfriend ghosted her. She started off the crazy tale by sharing that the two of them met at a blind dating event.
The woman in the story continued to share that at about a week into their relationship, things started to get a little weird.
About a week into our relationship, my boyfriend abruptly shook off my hand that he was holding and walked far away from me to answer a phone call.

When she confronted him about it, he explained that it was an emergency.
The secretive phone calls didn’t end here, as the woman shared that he continued with his weird behavior.
After that incident, he continued with his secretive phone calls, always taking them outside when we were together. He would leave the house after his phone calls, telling me he needed to go do something.

The Korean woman couldn’t take it anymore and finally asked her boyfriend what was going on.
It was to her question that her boyfriend revealed that he had been talking to his ex-girlfriend.
When she asked what business he had with his ex-girlfriend, he shared that he wanted to keep her out of it for her sake. He then asked her to believe in him, to which the Korean woman agreed to do.
He said that he didn’t want this to continue to be a problem. He promised me so I decided to believe in him.

While the Korean woman shared that he did stop talking to his ex-girlfriend for awhile, the story didn’t end there. She shared that one day, when they were supposed to meet up for a date, she received a strange text message from him
She revealed that after she received that message, her boyfriend disappeared and seemingly ghosted her.
After that, he didn’t answer any of my texts or my calls. I was really angry at first, but then I remembered that he was having a hard time with depressing thoughts. I couldn’t help but wonder if he had done something extreme to solve his problems.

She continued by revealing that during this time, she started getting nervous about what he may have done. She shared that while she wanted to reach out to his friends, she realized she didn’t know any of them. The Korean woman just wanted some answers, but didn’t know how to get them.
About a month later, however, the Korean woman revealed that her former boyfriend’s mother came to visit her at work.
She confessed that she had so many questions she asked his mother. “Is he okay? Where is he? Do you know where he went?” However, in a strange twist of events, without answering any of the questions, her former boyfriend’s mother asked the Korean woman to write a letter.
He misses you a lot so I was wondering if you would do me a favor and write him a letter. While you’re writing it, do you mind including this? Just write what I tell you to write.

It was here that the Korean woman revealed the shocking content her former boyfriend’s mother wanted her to write.
During the 3 months that I dated my boyfriend, I never once saw a violent side to him. He never raised a finger at me.

Shocked at the bizarre request, the Korean woman asked for an explanation as to why she was being asked to write such things. It was then that her former boyfriend’s mother belatedly revealed that it was because he was in jail for former domestic violence.
It was then that the Korean woman found out that her former boyfriend did not ghost her at all, but rather was serving time for domestic violence against his former girlfriend.
I found out that he had a lawsuit for a domestic violence case with his former girlfriend. He eventually got arrested and was put in jail.
