4 New K-Pop Artists Just Leaped Onto The Billboard Digital Song Sales Chart

The Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart is updated each week to show which international digital singles are having the most sales in the United States. K-Pop is often a prominent part of the 25-song list, and this week, 4 new artists have made their way onto the chart!
The highest-ranking new song is “Don’t Touch Me” by the Refund Sisters, coming in at #8. This group is a spin-off from the SSAK3 project, and features Hwasa, Jessi, Lee Hyori, and Uhm Junghwa. They’re definitely proving their power with this easy jump onto the chart!
The next highest-ranking new song is NCT U‘s “Make A Wish (Birthday Song)”, which comes in at #11 this week. Since it’s the sub-unit’s first song to come out since 2018, it’s great to see it do so well!
Next up is “DAWNDIDIDAWN” by DAWN himself, featuring Jessi, which ranks at #13. This is his first release since he came out with “Money” last year, his debut as a solo artist, so this is a promising sign that his career is doing well.
Lastly, in at #25 on the list is Weki Meki with “Cool”. Even though they just barely squeaked onto the chart, this is only their second song to make it on the ranking, so it’s nice to see their new song doing well enough to chart!
Also ranking this week are 6 BTS songs: “Inner Child” at #2 (which has spent 12 weeks total on the list and re-enters it this week); “Filter” at #3 (now on its 32nd week on the chart after placing #8 last week); “My Time” at #9 (also on its 32nd week, up from #10 last week); “Euphoria” at #15 (now at 36 weeks on the chart and down from #11 last week); “Mic Drop” (ft. Desiigner) at #22 (with an incredible 126 weeks on the chart, down from #21 last week); and finally, “Boy With Luv” (ft. Halsey) at #23 (with now 65 weeks on the chart and dropping from #19 last week).
BLACKPINK also has 5 songs ranking this week: Their latest, “Lovesick Girls”, at #7 (now on its 2nd week, after placing #1 last week); “Pretty Savage” at #10 (also on it’s 2nd week, falling from #2 last week); “How You Like That” at #12 (now with 15 weeks on the chart, this week re-entering it); “DDU-DU DDU-DU” at #17 (on it’s 83rd week on the chart, placing the same as it did last week); and “Kill This Love” at #19 (now at 72 weeks on the chart, dropping from #12 last week).
The last K-Pop song to rank this week is virtual K-Pop group K/DA‘s “The Baddest”, which is listed at #24 now on its 7th week on the chart, down from #20 last week.
Congratulations to all the artists that charted this week!
