Stray Kids Make History As The First K-Pop Group To Ever Attend The MET Gala

Stray Kids have made history yet again!

For the eight-membered boy group under JYP Entertainment, it seems like the sky is the limit. With each album release, Stray Kids break their own records and have cemented themselves as one of K-Pop’s representative groups.

Fans first began to wonder if the group would be attending the 2024 MET Gala when it was discovered they had a schedule in New York that lined up with the timing.

Several of the members are associated with major luxury brands, like Hyunjin‘s global ambassador position with VERSACE, so attending as individuals would not have been a surprise.

However, on May 3, KST, the entirety of the group was photographed at Incheon Airport, with the media mentioning that it was for a Tommy Hilfiger event. Each member was also dressed in the brand from head to toe.

Their attendance was even further confirmed on the day of the event, when Felix posted a photo of the invitation, hash tagging Tommy Hilfiger.

Fans waited in anticipation for the members to show up on the red carpet, which began at 5:30 ET.

With the first interview of the group, Stray Kids’ place in history as the first entire K-Pop group to attend the MET Gala was solidified.

The group were dressed to impress, wearing suits featuring red, white, and blue.
