HyunA’s Comments Addressing Fans’ Concerns Over Relationship Sparks Fierce Backlash

HyunA is facing a fresh round of criticism after making an appearance on a YouTube show.

On April 18, HyunA made a rare appearance on Jo Hyun Ah‘s YouTube channel.

On this day, Jo Hyun Ah asked where HyunA and her boyfriend, Yong Jun Hyung, liked to hang out and asked if it was difficult to date publicly because they were so recognizable. HyunA then responded that the couple didn’t mind the attention.

Once we went to The Hyundai (mall). People saw us together, but thankfully, everyone minded their business, and nobody asked to take pictures. I was so thankful. Seeing how we weren’t (bothered) at The Hyundai, we decided to go out more often.

HyunA then addressed the criticism the couple has received stemming from the fact that Yong Jun Hyung was involved in the infamous Burning Sun scandal.

To be honest, I am very aware of what people think, but if I pay attention to that and chase the public’s approval, there are times when I lose the value of happiness. And so, rather than (people’s approval), I focus on myself right now.

Despite HyunA’s declaration of love, the idol’s comments were hit with immediate backlash. According to reports, the YouTube video has been flooded with negative comments about her relationship.
