Fans Heartbroken After TripleS’s Xinyu Deletes Texts Calling Out Modhaus’s “Cruel” Practice

In a recent incident that has left TripleS fans disheartened and stirred up controversy, Xinyu, a member of the group, expressed her concerns about the group’s ranking system, which she described as “cruel.”
| ModhausTripleS, managed by Modhaus, is known for its unique approach to fan engagement. Almost every aspect of the group’s activities—from subunit formations to stage names—is decided by fan votes. Fans earn voting tokens called “COMO” by purchasing NFT photocards known as “Objekts.”

Recently, a photo released by the group’s social media featured all 24 members arranged in a V-shaped formation. Observant fans speculated that this arrangement was based on the number of “Objekts” sold, although this has not been officially confirmed by Modhaus. The speculation gained traction after fans compared the positioning of members in the photo to their Objekt sales data. The girls in the center had the most sales compared to the girls in the very back.
also i better not see a single of you jaden shooters say it was anything other than objekt sales order because it’s the EXACT order of the sales for 2nd edition cream except for glow

This ranking method, reminiscent of survival reality shows, did not sit well with Xinyu, who took to the fan communication app Fromm to voice her unease. Her comments suggested a push for a randomized system, mentioning that the current method reminded her of her traumatizing experiences on the survival show Girls Planet 999.
Xinyu: Do they match the number of photocards sold??
Xinyu: So, it’s a bit… I think it would be better if it gets randomized later.
Xinyu: It’s a bit cruel.
Xinyu: It reminds me of a survival show…
Xinyu: I understand.
Xinyu: I won’t talk about itㅠㅠ

However, shortly after airing her thoughts, Xinyu retracted her statements with an apology, emphasizing that she had made a mistake by discussing the matter. She then indicated that she would not be able to communicate further with fans that day, followed by another apology. Soon after, all her messages regarding the ranking issue were deleted from her account.

Xinyu: I’m really, really sorry.
Xinyu: Let’s have some fun conversations.
Xinyu: I got it…
Xinyu: I don’t think I can communicate with you all today.
This sequence of events, especially the TripleS star deleting her messages, has raised concerns among fans about the pressure she might be facing from their management. Xinyu—who is not among the least-selling members according to fan calculations—appeared to be more concerned about the impact of this practice on her fellow group members than herself.
she ended up deleting the messages but those ss arent going to disappear. we love you :( you didn’t do anything wrong pic.twitter.com/lVuqHoTCs6
