Kim Sae Ron took longer to respond to the issue, first saying that she would release a statement on March 25, though a confidant claimed there was a “complicated story” behind the photo.
She later retracted her previous statement and said she would no longer comment. Netizens criticized the actress for her “attention seeking” and accused her of trying to make something out of nothing.
This instance is actually not the first time netizens have criticized the actress for stretching the truth.
During the trial for her DUI in 2022, the actress claimed that she was facing financial difficulties and shared photos of herself working at a place called Mega Coffee to support her claims.
