Korean Dating Show Contestant Criticized For Rude Comments About Another Contestant’s Style

I Am Solo is a popular Korean dating show. Their most recent season is a special for “motae solos,” or people who have never been in relationships.

A clip has gone viral recently due to the contestant’s comments. A contestant nicknamed Youngsoo indirectly criticized another contestant Youngja’s outfit. With her dyed pink hair and spunky outfit, Youngsoo pointed out that it would not help her gain points with the crew.

As it is a dating show, he meant to advise her to dress in a way that invites more people to like her. Youngja took it in stride and politely explained her choice, even complimenting him.
