According to a now-viral Tweet on X, actress Kim Tae Ri initially seemed to be the next star to be announced in a relationship, but is this the truth?

Kim Tae Ri made her feature film debut in The Handmaiden and has since appeared in numerous works, including the K-Drama series Twenty-Five Twenty-One and Revenant.

The actress has had no public relationships but was rumored to date Space Sweepers co-star Song Joong-Ki in 2022 and Twenty-Five Twenty-One co-star Nam Joo Hyuk in 2023. Even when recollecting about her first love, the actress expressed some less-than-positive feelings about the experience.

So, when a Tweet on X proclaimed that news outlet Dispatch had revealed that Kim Tae Ri was in a relationship, many were shocked and in disbelief. The tweet included two photos of a man and a woman meeting up, giving some credibility to the statement.

While Kim Tae Ri’s being in a relationship would not be bad, there are several indications that this tweet is untrue.

First, the two images are from Dispatch‘s dating reveals of EXO’s Kai and f(x)‘s Krystal and actors Lee Joon and Jung So Min.

Secondly, a search of Dongttaro reveals that it is not a musician like many people reading the tweet believed, but a breed of chicken, which only added to the confusion. Dongttaro is the username of the tweet’s OP, who posted the tweet as a joke, despite the existence of a news story seemingly confirming the relationship and search results being affected by the funny fib.
