The BTS Member Considered For “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” By Korea National Opera’s Director

The Korea National Opera recently held a press conference to introduce the cast and crew of the upcoming production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream, the world-renowned play written by William Shakespeare with music by Benjamin Britten.

While considering who to cast, the team had initially considered BTS’s leader, RM, for the role.

Instead, the role went to veteran actor and Shinhwa member Kim Dong Wan. While the crew was discussing their consideration of BTS’s RM for the role of Puck, Kim Dong Wan playfully replied, “I’m grateful that the production team chose me over RM after much deliberation.”
