It might seem like Lee Sung Kyung was featured due to her famous role as a cardiothoracic surgeon in Dr. Romantic. Yet, it’s actually that Doctor Slump director and she had worked together on another K-Drama.
Director Oh Hyun Jong and Lee Sung Kyung previously worked together on the fan-favorite 2016-2017 drama Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo. He personally requested for her to make a cameo appearance.
Once again, we would like to thank Lee Sung Kyung, who readily agreed to making a special appearance. Because she’d also worked with both Park Hyung Sik and Park Shin Hye before, she made the atmosphere on set even more fun and delightful. Although her appearance is brief, she will have a powerful presence that goes beyond the typical cameo.
