IVE Wonyoung’s Sister Jang Da Ah Surprises Netizens With The First Look Of Her Acting Skills

Netizens have finally gotten a glimpse of the much-anticipated acting debut of Jang Da Ah, the older sister of IVE member Wonyoung.

In April 2023, Jang Dah Ah first gained the attention of netizens after it was reported that she had been signed by King Kong by Starship, a subsidiary of IVE’s agency Starship Entertainment. This announcement came simultaneously with her first-ever commercial modeling job in an ad for ACUVUE.

Since then, Jang has been a hot topic among netizens for securing multiple commercial gigs even before her debut. Her visuals have also brought her quite some attention, both negative and positive.

Despite being in the spotlight for nearly a year, netizens have hardly gotten a glimpse of her beyond still pictures or mostly stoic modeling poses. But recently, the teaser of Pyramid Game, the much-anticipated drama where Jang Da Ah is making her acting debut, has given netizens a generous peek at what they could expect to see from her soon.

On February 6, KST, TVING shared the first trailed from the show, depicting a psycho-thriller-meets-revenge drama kind of a scenario. Jang Da Ah appears on screen quite a few times along with the female lead WJSN’s Bona and Single’s Inferno 2 star Shin Seul Ki.

The sole dialogue spoken by Jang in the teaser is a mocking consolation to the lead. However, her tone and her expressions throughout the clip impressively make her stand out as the antagonist character.
