Popular YouTuber Tzuyang is under fire for a racially insensitive video.

Recently, Tzuyang released a video titled “Vietnamese Restaurant Where You Eat In Line.”

In the video, the YouTube is seen visiting a Vietnamese restaurant. On this day, Tzuyang was accompanied by comedian Kim Ji Young, who was in character as Ni Tong. Ni Tong is a racist caricature based on Filipino stereotypes in Korea.

The comedian’s hurtful and racist caricature has immediately sparked a backlash against Tzuyang, whose 9 Million subscribers include fans from the Philippines. Many commented their horror and disappointment at the video. International audiences were not alone in their dismay, as many Koreans also expressed outrage over the video.

• Seriously, I am sure you have Filipino fans… I just don’t understand why you would film with someone who mocks Filipinos… Did you really not think this was racist? I remember SNL was criticized for racially depicting Southeast Asians… Why are there so many racist videos?
