“Single’s Inferno 3” Host Dex “Harsh” Comments About Kim Gyu Ri Spark A Debate

Single’s Inferno 3 might have come to an end, but the debate on both the contestants and hosts are still ongoing.

One of the big changes this season was the appearance of a new host. Alongside the favorites, netizens loved that Dex (also known as Kim Jin Young) was seated for commentary, especially as he was a very popular contestant from the previous series.

In particular, his comments about Kim Gyu Ri have sparked a debate.

In the past few episodes, Gyu Ri has gained mixed reactions to her behavior when it comes to interactions with fellow contestant Min Woo, who was showcasing serious feelings towards Si Eun.

Yet, along with some netizens having mixed reactions to Gyu Ri’s behavior, host Dex was another person who shared his negative feelings about her attitude. In particular, Dex believed that Gyu Ri’s words were disrespectful and even shared that it showcased “her true self.”

When the episode aired, many netizens found Dex’s words hypocritical. Although some linked their anger back to Dex’s own experience with Lee Nadine, others criticized the way he would call out Gyu Ri’s behavior but not the likes of Lee Gwan Hee.
