Single’s Inferno 3 finally came to an end, but one “end-game” couple has netizens on the fence.

On January 9, Netflix released the final episode of the series. All the contestants gathered to make their final choices about who to leave the island with, if it was anyone at all.

During the final, one of the most surprising couples was Gyu Ri and Min Kyu. Although Min Kyu always had feelings for Gyu Ri, her feelings for him seemingly grew slower and later.

At the start of the series, Min Kyu always showcased his “green flag” behavior. In particular, when he and Gyu Ri were in the helicopter, Gyu Ri got frightened, so Min Kyu instantly grabbed her hand to comfort her.

When the final episode was released, netizens loved that “green flag” Min Kyu was chosen by the person he always had feelings for.

Yet, while some fans were happy that Min Kyu’s loyalty paid off in the end, not everyone thought it was a good decision. In particular, they pointed out the way Gyu Ri had treated Min Woo (whom she had expressed feelings for) and also how she quickly changed to Min Kyu after Min Woo shared his feelings for Si Eun.
