Soaring to the top of all music charts, like MelOn, genie, and Bugs!,  “As You Wish” by WJSN (also known as Cosmic Girls) has—once again—been named the “New Year’s Anthem” in Korea!

Thanks to the lyrics like “Hope all your wishes come true” and “Everything will go as you wish,” “As You Wish” has given Koreans a hopeful and optimistic start to 2024.

MelOn saw a spike in the streaming of the song within the first five minutes of January 1, 2024.

Ever since its release in 2019, “As You Wish” has topped music charts on January 1 for the past five consecutive years. For 2024, WJSN thanked the listeners once again via a statement shared by STARSHIP Entertainment.
