Incheon Police responded to criticism and allegations amid Lee Sun Kyun‘s death.

On December 27, actor Lee Sun Kyun was found dead in his car in Jongno, Seoul. It has been reported that Lee Sun Kyun’s wife, Jeon Hye Jin, had called the police earlier to report the actor’s disappearance after leaving a letter.

The actor’s passing has sparked intense scrutiny and criticism aimed at Incheon Police. The Police department was at the center of a highly controversial and publicized drug scandal targeting Lee Sun Kyun and another top star, whose allegations were later dropped.

Allegations surrounding the department’s investigation reached a feverish pitch after it was revealed that the actor had been questioned for 19 hours the night before, during which the actor reportedly asked to take a lie detective test.

On this day, Incheon Police denied to XSports News that any unlawful investigative tactics were used.
