Lee Sun Kyun Denies Taking Hard Drugs Knowingly, Despite Inhaling Powder Through A Straw

A recent exclusive by JTBC reported an update in Lee Sun Kyun‘s drug abuse trials. In recent investigations, Lee Sun Kyun claimed that he did not know that he had taken hard drugs. While Madam Kim, a manager at the adult establishment that was involved in the case, testified that she had witnessed Lee Sun Kyun take Ketamine in powder form through a straw, Lee denied the claims.

He countered that while he had used a straw to inhale the powder through the nose, he was unaware that it was Ketamine.

I had taken it through the nose, using a straw, but I thought they were sleeping pills. I did not know that they were drugs.

Madam Kim further testified that when she brought up the topic of Ketamine to Lee, who showed interest in it.

When I brought up Ketamine, he said he was interested, and when I got it for him, he consumed it.

Although Madam Kim testified to seeing Lee five times to consume drugs, Lee only admitted to four of the five. He claimed that although he met her three times, they did not do any drugs. On the fourth, he admitted to taking sleeping pills.
