ATEEZ’s Yeosang Faces Workout Ban, Fans Come To His Defense

Kim Jaejoong recently returned with a new episode of his YouTube talk show, JaeFriends, and his latest special guests were ATEEZ‘s San, Wooyoung, and Yeosang.

Second-generation idol Kim Jaejoong correctly guessed who the guest stars of his 19th JaeFriends episode would be and surprised the three ATEEZ members by sharing information he knew about them.

Jaejoong hilariously identified San as the “member with the hot body,” shared that he recognized Wooyoung from YouTube fancams, and stated that Yeosang is well-known for his handsome visuals.

During the episode, the ATEEZ members were asked to “act cute,” which Jaejoong noted must come naturally to Yeosang since his “appearance is cute itself.”

Yeosang instead said that he still acts cute upon fans’ requests, as Jaejoong joked that it was “illegal” if idols don’t do aegyo these days.

Jaejoong wanted to know if there was another side to Yeosang that he wanted to show ATINYs, and the ATEEZ member revealed that when he debuted, he wanted to show a “hardcore and charismatic” side to fans.

As fans continued to call him cute, he wanted to “look stronger” for ATEEZ’s “more masculine” performances.

For their 2021 promotions of “Fireworks (I’m The One),” Yeosang admitted he spent more time working out and that fans reacted positively to his more muscular appearance.

Despite ATINYs admiring his appearance, Yeosang revealed he was banned from working out because he became “too bulky” and that he’s “getting rid of [his] muscles now.”

Fans were quick to react to Yeosang’s confession, coming to his defense against the workout ban as many hope the ATEEZ members are able to stay healthy while not feeling forced to conform to outside pressures.

If Yeosang wants to carry on working out let him … there’s no reason to ban something he enjoys doing and knows how much we support it as well he can be pretty and gorgeous and bulky at the same time
