The Gaon Albums Chart is a weekly, monthly, and yearly chart created by Gaon to show which albums are performing the best in South Korea in terms of sales. It’s an accomplishment to even make it onto the chart, and even more so to get within the top ranks!
Even when albums do make it to the #1 position on the weekly chart, it’s even rarer for one to stay in that spot for more than one week, and only six of the albums on this chart hit the #1 spot for multiple weeks!
